This is my submission for the 11/4/11 Illustration Friday theme, "stripes".
Unfortunately, this didn't wind up matching the theme as much as I had hoped, but I tried, and it does have stripes in it, so hey.

After looking it over a bit, it kind of reminded me of the bird of paradise flower.

Painted using SAI Paint Tool.
